Our church belongs to the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji Ha tradition of Buddhism and the Mother Temple is the Nishi Hongwanji located in Kyoto, Japan.
Obon Bazaar a Success!!
The Buddhist Church of Lodi's 2008 Obon Bazaar was a success! At the peak of the Bon Odori on Sunday night, we had 100 people dancing! Thank you to everyone that attended and of course everyone that helped out. You can watch a video of the Obon Dance at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcFHst2f6Gs
